  7. Topo to DXF (TXF) assists in the automation of ``dot to dot'' processing and
  8. annotation of plots from topographic and planimetric surveys. It allows the
  9. annotation of the plot to be implemented by the field personnel. TXF does not
  10. encumber field operations with imposed attribute codes or complex coding
  11. schemata. All attribute codes can be field-defined for maximum flexibility. The
  12. control codes provide a simple shorthand language to aid in field description
  13. and plotting control

  15. Any process that creates an ASCII disk file of specified format, as described
  16. by product literature, can be used to create TXF input files.
